A refreshing and observant take on how our humanity trumps AI every time. To err is human, to learn is human, to grow in strength, love and depth of character from those things is humanity at its best.
That's a very refreshing view of the AI topic! I really liked your ideas, and will definetely try to incorporate some of them to my own creative practice... However, even though there are indeed companies trying to create robots that will actually help us, there are so many others who are solely focused on making a profit by exploring AI's possibilities despite the damage they'll do to human creators (Capitalism is still very much alive, after all), so I don't think we should go lightly when it comes to AI, at least for now.
Oh AI will definitely change the game, as all technology does. There was a lot of fear when the camera came and threatened portrait artists' livelihood too. I think the best we as creators can do is to adapt and focus more on the work that AI can't do. :)
Some lovely thoughts there, we get frustrated at our failings, yet that's what it is to be a creative human. I have noticed that I don't get that spurt of energy to get lots done until it's warm and sunny, that means the middle of May, so I now have a sense of urgency to get on with it quickly... It might not last.
Yes! It's frustrating to be human, but oh so very preferable. Hope you can enjoy this sunny energy spurt, despite the fact that it will, inevitably, end. :)
I WAS just lamenting that I was missing your writing, and here is a brand new piece from you! Yay! And I really like this take on AI, that it could release us from being robot-like, and become more human, lean into our humanness. Thank you so much!

Yessss exactly! So well put. That's what we need. :)

I needed to hear this. Thank you, Elin.
My pleasure, Sara. :)

Yay, that makes me happy to hear, Sara. :) Glad it resonates! Your art feel very very human to me.
